motivation
This is - I hope - the last collab topic that will be posted for WHB on my personal domain.
Yes, after a small amount of struggle (mostly for time), I'm close to having the whole site up at whb.com. Er, only close, though. Anyone have tips on how to quickly port 150 + names from my Moveable Type notification list to a new blog? I'm stuck on that one. Email if you have ideas.
In any case, here's this week's question. This is something I've been personally struggling with lately, and I'm curious how others deal/have dealt with it.
I assume, based on the simple fact that you read or post here, that you're all activists in some sense. And I know, whatever you're active in support of, it's not always (if ever) easy. So, how do you stay motivated to keep fighting the good fight? How do you do it when the fight seems like a losing one? Or when you doubt your commitment to it?
[Edited on 2/27/03 to add: We're moved! It's done. I finally got everything working right, and I don't need anyone to email me with helpful suggestions about the notify list thing.]
