Aging

July 27, 2003 05:59 PM posted by alison : track it (0)

I picked up a book of quotes this weekend. Entitled 'The Wicked Wit of Women', and Compiled by Dominique Enright, it offers quotes on the arts, war and peace, marriage and aging. One that I liked was by May Lamberton Becker (1873-1958). She states:

What do you think of this concept? Do you recognize things about you from your child hood that you have grown into? What do you hope the future brings? Have you become more like yourself and what does this entail? And, from this, what role does feminism play in all of this development?

Apologies if this has been covered. I don't remember it, but I have a funny feeling about it.

Anyhow, my post is up here. I confess, it kind of rambles...

Mine's up here. BTW, I keep saying to "Remember personal info" and it never does!

Vic - if the site doesn't remember your personal info, chances are you have cookies turned off or have either deleted or rejected the cookie set by this site.

My answer to this (and my question from last week, and the weeks before that) is coming soon. I swear.

Nope. Cookies are turned on. Nothing is set up to reject anything. Other sites remember me. Just not this one. I dunno...

My response is up, finally.

Became randomly introspective. Ended up on my journal as a result. Go figure.

I can't really summarize it.
